Mastercard brings legends back to Ljudski vrt

Together with Mastercard Slovenia and NK Maribor, we brought five club legends back to Ljudski vrt. Not onto the pitch this time, but in a more sustainable form – as collectible cups featuring illustrated portraits of players whose jerseys have already been retired.

Marcos Tavares, Jasmin Handanović, Mitja Viler, Aleksander Rajčević, and Stipe Balajić once again became part of the fan experience at the stadium. But as true-born winners, their return did not end with the cups. The legends immediately entered the race to become the most wanted cup in Ljudski vrt.

They addressed fans through digital channels and an interactive poster, presenting the reasons why their cup should be the one to choose. We also brought the campaign to outdoor media. On one very special poster, the cups were mounted as “cup telephones”, allowing fans to listen to their legends.

In this way, a sustainable solution became a collectible campaign that connected sustainability, a priceless experience, and fan passion.

As befits natural-born winners, upon their return to Ljudski vrt, they immediately set out to make their glass the most legendary. It doesn't matter whose glass will become the most desirable, so the legendary football players did everything they could to make it theirs. They addressed the fans via digital channels and an interactive poster, presenting the reasons why they should choose them. 👏
